The 44th Golden Fox Trophy will stay as a pleasant memory and a s an event, which was won in a struggle with  the nature. In the first run skiing was made difficult by heavy rain that luckily stopped in the second run.

Slovenian skiers didn't succede to qualify for the second run. In the big finals Austria's Nicole Hosp won before Slovak Veronika Zuzulova, third was sixth from the first run, Austrian Marlies Schield.

Strenuousness and mood was praised by Maribor's mayor Franc Kangler, who said, that successfully carried out Golden Fox is a base for a successful Maribor's candidature for Universiade.
