Markus Mayr, FIS snow controller and Race Director - World Cup Women in Technical Events announced his arrival in Maribor on 8. January. As initially planned, the racecourse inspection should happen today, but due to the weather forecast promising snow and cold, the inspection is postponed for a day.
Srečko Vilar, Secretary General, 57. Golden Fox Organizing Committee: ”The cold wave will enable snow cannons in lower parts to operate on maximum capacity. Snow production at the finish area provides enough snow needed for the finish area. Snow cannons are placed along the entire racecourse. Further steps of preparations will be arranged together with the snow controller.”
