New venue, new snow conditions. This time "men's" racecourse in Podkoren surprised the world's best alpine skiers with winter conditions. A mix of a compact and frozen base on the top of softer, new snow can be noticed on the racecourse even after the technical team from Maribor and Kranjska Gora smoothed the surface. Such an uneasy slope and demanding giant slalom for 58. Golden Fox caused more trouble than usual, even to the best ones (Shiffrin, Vlhova, Gut-Behrami). The Slovenians remained unbothered as they hold promising starting positions to attack in the second run at 12:30.
