Weather is helping, not threatening the Golden Fox!

Preparation succeeded, snow surface is of great quality and weather forecast is very favourable.

Chief of Race, Mitja Dragšič remains calm five days prior to competition. Even though this is his first time in such a demanding role after ending his successful skiing career, he has enough personnel and there is no need to worry. Gorazd Bedrač, former Chief of Race for over two decades, remains present on the racecourse next to Mitja Dragšič. Filip Gartner, FIS snow controller and former coach of Mitja Dragšič is keeping an eye on preparations while weather remains in organizer's favour.»Weather forecast is ideal. A minor warm up is not a problem, some rain does no harm either« is pleased Mitja Dragšič. All activities are going on according to plan, snow has suitable humidity, lower part of the racecourse is already concrete hard while we wait for this to happen in the upper part as well during clear nights. Organizers, who had to fight the nature until the last day, are now able to focus on other phases of event preparation. Andrej Rečnik's team started putting up safety nets, fencing and padding while finish area is also starting to get the competition appearance. Mitja Dragšič: »Snežni stadion should have its final set up done on Wednesday afternoon! «. Weather forecast for the weekend looks promising.
